Many admins aren’t technical enough to automate, they’re going to boot a recovery image and delete the file by hand everywhere. This will definitely save effort, plus is something you can give to non technical people.

Yeah #2 is a big one. I’ve had to deal with a user who got hit by a supply chain attack, and doing forensics on their box was invaluable.
If they’d wiped their desktop as soon as it got compromised, we’d have nothing to go off of. I’d expect that user to be in some pretty serious trouble tbh for violating our security policy by not notifying us immediately.

When soldering the point is not to drop melted solder onto the spots. You want to heat up the solder pad and the leg equally, so that the solder just flows nicely.
Start by getting some flux on there if you can, and just heat those suckers up until it flows nicely.
Is it laggy when you do certain things? Could you be moving it in a way that’s breaking a solder joint?
