Yep, I had to grit my teeth and fork over those $10 in GoG for the 1.10.163. I think I will be buying from them first before Steam from now on. Glad they have auto updates disabled options too.

A PCI DSS update plus the credit card corps would have to allow something like un-chipped virtual cards to be accepted (to be clear there are virtual cards already, but just not attached to wireless pay). At this point both Apple and Samsung don’t want to lose this revenue , so yeah it’s a real bummer.
