So you’re saying privacy against meta is futile so you might as well just keep your accounts there?

Well dang, yeah, you definitely know more about this than I do. Definitely put my foot in my mouth with this one. I just really really detest meta, and people do all sorts of mental gymnastics to convince themselves they’re not an awful company.
I mean… they’re pretty much telling you right upfront that they are. Just sitting there and saying “nuh uh” when the privacy policy is right there to make yourself feel better about using their products is fine, but don’t try to persuade other more privacy savvy individuals otherwise.
Having Google Services installed and complaining about Facebook privacy will never not seem strange to me.
People always say “family and friends…” but, just hear me out, what if you don’t need to be in constant contact with people you would have naturally moved on from?
You know what’s even better? Not using Facebook at all!
I have no idea what videos you’re all watching to get stuff like this in your home feed because I’ve never seen any right wing anything on YouTube.
I’ve never seen right wing anything in my home feed on YouTube. Not sure what you’re on about.
But muh cOnSerVatiVe VoiCeS!!
I remember blinking and hours disappeared. It’s like dying. You simply don’t exist and have zero recollection of anything.
When I was woken up I was shivering like I was outside in the winter in my birthday suit. They said it’s normal and used a heater/blower to warm me up.
So essentially privacy in 2023 is entirely pointless, and I shouldn’t bother?
