Hi
Deadlock was almost a sci-fi game? Do say more please
How awful of a living space and for how long does it take for cockroaches to just become normal… Yikes, ya almost feel bad for that guy.
However, the lemmyverse is still rather small. I find it’s better to not hide posts so you can return later. It can take a day or three to get some comments, so its nice to see the traction some posts gain.
Only if they were currently running, and I’m willing to guess the vast majority of reusable/scrap chips will be unpowered in the event of an EMP.
Replacing all working electronics with new boards would definitely be a task. But unless we get an massive flare from the sun I hardly think that’ll be an issue.
Yep! My pre-built 1660 super i got years ago is still chugging along amazingly as a streaming device for my steam deck.
They have it set where you have to grant permissions to any new app requesting said permission. This is literally something the user has done to themselves that (most) others are actually thankful to have such a feature lol.
However… Just think about how many chips are currently just sitting around… Between scrapping and searching you would likely be just fine for a few decades.
The danger is you being so non-chalant about your weapons that you do not realize you have just swapped them. There are a billion scenarios in which doing so gets you arrested even today with current laws.
You can act as tough and mighty as you’d like, but viewing guns in this way, and acting so non-chalant about them is how people get killed.
Your mentality of treating guns as “NBD” is the real issue here. Guns have been dumbed down and ingrained so heavily into our society, that you almost jokingly say how you “switched guns at one point”.
All of that absolutely should be illegal. And we shouldn’t be so careless with our weapons, as you make it sound so normal to have done.
Its not a tag. It’s an option. You can even filter out all nsfw posts already.
Tags/Flair isn’t Nsfw/Nsfl. Tags could be tedious yes, but a seperate checkmark or a seperate toggle for simply NSFL should have been made from the get go.
Would there be any way to enshrine privacy/no chat control for the EU? Similar to constitutional amendments in the states, where it becomes exceptionally more difficult to revoke?
If you cant understand that sharing naked photos of people is bad, then you probably should have to face the court systems.
Like what? I don’t care how horny you are as a teenager, it takes a real fucking idiot, and a huge shitstain to go and share those photos. They absolutely deserve the book being thrown at them.
How so? My phone screen is 6.4in and id hardly consider that to be tablet sized. Anything smaller physically hurts me to be honest.
So this thing looks absolutely amazing, but still sports a 19oz size(560g). For reference, my phone is only 7oz (201g). The steam deck (roughly 22oz), which i regularly hold with two hands, can start to cause pain in the wrists.
I’m sure the kind of person to buy this phone isn’t holding it for numerous hours, but thats still A) a lot of weight to lug around B) I’d imagine it will begin to strain the wrists quickly. Maybe that’s a pro though…
Edit: Mind didn’t complete my thought, added words.
Until they push some kind of update that requires you to find where they hid the button* (and it also defaults back to cloud)
Yep, typically “Kill Process Tree” was like the nuke from orbit. You’ll likely destroy any unsaved data, but it works nice when steam has 12 processes running at once.
That was what I was going for :p. Had hoped an engineer might come in and tell us the efficiency of either or both.
Youre not necessarily wasting any water. Any water that goes down the drain just gets filtered and recirculated. Even if it wasn’t filtered and made it directly to the river, evaporation would still ensure it returns to the cycle.
Not as far as the efficiency of filtering water vs an AC… well. You’ll need someone significantly smarter than I to tell you that
He clearly lives rent free in your head, and I’m all for it.
