Does the server have to run headless, or can one person still run games locally on it while another has a remote session? That is, would I be able to play on the monitor/mouse/keyboard directly attached, while my partner has a session on a laptop?

Gonna preface this by saying this is not my worst, or really even a bad experience. We were in a 69 with her on top. Some people see their pre-transition selves as being one gender, and only use their post-transition gender to inform their new pronouns later. It was written by a person that interviewed her and apparently held her in high respect. All we can see is that there is an abrupt change in the pronouns, where Lynn presumably could have considered herself to match the new pronouns. I really like the way Ameliorated/AME Wizard handles the debloating. You take a Windows ISO and install like usual, then run AME with a playbook (like AtlasOS), which strips out the bloat through a collection of scripts . AME Wizard is open source, and you can directly inspect all the scripts within the playbook, whereas Tiny11 is a whole ISO that is hard to verify. Not saying that I can personally vouch that it is completely trustworthy, as I have only taken a brief look at the code and scripts, but I like to have the option. It also means that I could modify out any changes I don’t like.

I found out about AME Wizard when I had to reformat a MiPad2 tablet with 2gb of RAM, and so far it has worked better than when the tablet was new. The only downside is that you go through the full Win 11 install, so you need enough available space and then reclaim the wasted space after, but it is at least mostly automated.

I already suggested this in another comment, but you can easily apply a thought experiment here. Magically replace all white people with black people with the same upbringing: does crime go up, down, or basically stay the same? Magically replace all pitbulls with chihuahuas with the same upbringing: do maulings go up, down, or basically stay the same?

Any “big dog with a blocky head” should be banned from breeding or sale, and nobody who agrees with that statement cares about DNA. It is a matter of public safety and it doesn’t matter that humans are the real problem, because humans are notoriously hard to control. The pitbulls and similar breeds we have today deserve all the love and comfort we can give them now, but they shouldn’t be bred into the future because there is no legitimate reason to own one except for its potential for violence and flatulence-scapegoating.

I’m no lawyer so I could be completely off-base, but I think the existence of homebrew can make all 3 points defensible, depending on what evidence exists about their primary intent being breaking the DRM. If they have posted publicly things like “this patch should bypass DRM for this particular game” then they would be screwed, but posts like “supports/extends this feature so we can better emulate the functionality in this particular game” should be fine? At least if I understand the precedent set by the Connectix ruling in addition to the wording of what you pasted?

Immigration is slow for skilled workers in fields with high demand. For someone who is “studying” and has no skills, it would take years to get a work visa legally, if even possible at all. I agree that you will probably never see this man in your house, and are more at risk of your mom sending money to a scammer who disappears once he collects all he can.

In the event that this legitimately progresses further than what everyone else’s advice covers, then you may need to get child protective services involved if any of your siblings are younger than you. Bringing a non-resident into your country, and potentially boarding them in a shared room with minor children? CPS is not going to look at that in a positive light. Even if it is legal for her to help this person in some capacity, CPS might spook your mom back to her senses before it can get to that point.
