Yeah, guilty as charged and I don’t even mind.
I buy the games on sale if I play them then good for me, if I don’t then I supported developers. I see no problem here.

I was raised mostly secular and I’m now 100% atheist, however … I like Christmas trees. Call it a Solstice tree if you want or name it something different. I don’t. I just don’t care. But I like the gift giving and decorating the tree with my wife and kids. It has zero religious significance if you don’t want it to, but the holiday itself is fun.
The idea that if you’re still living at home that your parents are still taking care of you. That they still make your food, do you laundry, pay your bills, etc. there is also a stereotype that you’re emotionally stunted since you haven’t moved out and had to take care of yourself. This is often summarized in the neck beard living in his parents basement meme.
I’m not saying this is true, but that’s the idea.
He nearly didn’t leave. He almost had his cronies not certify the election and stay in power. He showed how weak our system of checks and balances truly is. He had his peeps storm the halls of congress to try and stop the “peaceful transfer of power”. It is very fucking far from robust.
If the thing you took away from the Trump presidency was that the American democratic system was robust, then you really weren’t paying attention.
As an American I don’t get this either. You want to cut on my child’s penis the day after he’s born?! The fuck? Who says yes to that?
So I’m curious, how did you end up? Is there anything in your adult life that indicates your capabilities are above average?
Problem is there’s a catch 22. If you’re not lucid enough to answer those questions, you’re not lucid enough side whether you live or die from a legal standpoint.
Every law I know that allows euthanasia requires that the person have a terminal illness and enough mental faculties to make the decision. You run the risk of a loved one getting tried for murder if you ask them to give you the drugs and you are not competent to make the decision yourself.
I left as soon as RIF went offline for my account. Mid-tier user with reasonable posts volume. Been on reddit since the big Digg migration. Now I’m here.
I miss a few things about it… the constantly refreshing front page, the indepth sub-reddits on smaller topics, and my post history. But I haven’t gone back. Nor am I likely to unless management changes or they change their tone, neither of which is likely. Oh well, out with the old, in with the new.
My first reaction was how stupid this is. Dirt, debris and other things will get on the panels and cause lots of problems, but after a few minutes I realized it’s actually quite brilliant.
There are three major costs of solar, the panels, the location, and the wiring + inverters. If the tracks are used as the wires (extremely low resistance paths back to an inverter), the location is wasted space so basically free, and the inverter can be placed anywhere along the path to remove the power from the tracks, the cost of this comes down to mainly the cost of the panel, which is actually pretty cheep these days.
The real challenges will be in cleaning & maintenance, vandalism, and modifying the track to limit the conductive paths (assuming they’re used for this).
