You take the image recognization machine, and you run the output of your own algorithm through it, training your algorithm to value patterns that confuse the first machine.

The Turing test was never meant to be a test of a machine’s ability to think. It was meant to boil that question down into a question that can actually be answered, but the original question remains unanswered.

In my opinion, when general AI arrives it will not be an “open debate”, the consequences will be dramatic, far-reaching and rapid.

It’s at its worst when a paper describes how they account for correlation or designed their experiment to confirm causation, but someone doesn’t read the paper and says the line anyway.

You don’t need to read the paper but don’t try to act smart if you can’t be bothered.
