OP should actually be mad at the criminals making cloudflare necessary for some by attacking sites. Those are the ones making the internet worse.

If that happens, you’re likely solving captchas for someone who is using the same VPN to attack the site and without cloudflare it would be down for everyone

Normal users only really notice if the site is actually being attacked and therefore has enabled some checks. You will then not be able to use wget or so, but it’s better than the site being down or unusably slow due to the attack.

They also have payed plans. It’s actually nice of them to offer free plans for those in dire need. When your business critical site (eg. your small business shop) gets DDOSed and your hoster wants drastically more money for the traffic or will shut it down, both of which threatening your existance, cloudflare is a blessing.

I noticed anti-glare just splits the glare in 3 weaker ones, slightly different colored, for me.

Also, I noticed fake glass scratches more.

So I demanded real glass without coatings, ready to pay more, because it’s uncommon. lo and behold it was actually the cheapest option in that particular shop a few years ago: 15 €

I should probably get new ones by now, but i still see well and they still don’t have a scratch.

If it’s still that cheap, it’s actually worth checking out new frames for style.

Maybe check out “chinese anime” (donghua), but well it’s chinese (in speech and ideology), which can complicate watching it for people like me, from different nationality. Good examples would be Fog Hill of Five Elements or Swallowed Star.

There are things I actually enjoy, like some PC games, newer shows or watching “chinese anime” (donghua), which is usually very action packed with short episodes. I can do those for hours.

Mine did for sure. When I was younger I read hundresds of books. Nowadays I can’t do it any more. I have multiple blockbuster movies half watched, the playing time noted down to be able to resume. I can’t bear watching anime any more, because of their endless showdowns and flashbacks before the action. (I loved anime when I was younger.) I can’t watch any old (like pre 2000) shows any more (Star Trek TNG, Knight Rider, A-Team, Simpsons, etc), even ones I didn’t watch yet, or ones i really liked. Their pace is just too slow. Sometimes I even speed newer shows up to be able to watch them. Otherwise everything feels like a waste of time; like I’m misssing out on something else, something better, while doing it.

But you’ll get a bag 3/4 with not broken chips and 1/4 with broken chips on average… ideally for the same price as the half full bag you get now that still may have more or less broken chips, depending on how it was transported.

In some countries you can change your name, if it bothers you much.

notion is kinda like this, but no icons and the clock bar is at the bottom. highly scriptable in lua. it’s actually a tiling WM, but the tiling area can be just one massive thing. the tabs go on top of each tyling area, so if you have only one everything is maximized with tabs on top. i used it for a long time. customized some lua too, so its start menu thing opens on mouse click on the bar.
