Communism isn’t about exegesis. It’s not about who understands the source texts or believes in the correct unadulterated virgin idea. There are many schools of communism and they have all changed with history in some way.
Lmao source please? For the church/zealots-part. Also I don’t think you understood the concept of the dictatorship of the proletariat and the way Marx uses language to get his point across. Maybe you should read more secondary literature?
Lost of syndicalists see themselves as communists. Including myself. I’ve been on the board, on the administration team and the negotiatiok team for my syndicalist union. All communism isn’t leninism.
I (a European jew) usually tk about assimilation and struggling against assimilation. I don’t know, maybe anti-assimilationist?
Really fucking blessed memory. He was one of the real ones. I’ll never forget what Aaron did.

I’m just happy to be here. I care less and less about reddit. Using lemmy and mastodon for a while, it’s gotten more and more important to me to just build a great, fun, healthy community and less important (emotionally) to bring down the giants. I still care about it politically and theoretically, I just don’t feel it as much.
I just wanted to try Lemmy and this instance was recommended to my by my tech friends. I haven’t coded since high school (the closest I get is a couple of hours of trying SQL). I work in accounting, live in southern Stockholm, Sweden, union activist in my local syndicalist union, member of my local masorti synagogue. I’m in charge of internet security and other IT related issues on my firm, but that’s because we’re small and I’m the least bad on the position. I’m still struggling to get people to move over to password managers (yeah some co-workers still reuse passwords). After that, my plan is to push for 2FA where it’s possible (though we already have it on our most crucial system).
It absolutely makes sense. For us who want to game but also need a computer to do day to day work and meetings. I’m not buying two computers, so what I buy for work is what I have to game with.
