I totally forgot about spark.com, or was it thespark.com?
Back in the early 2000 area if I recall correctly. I spent way too much time answering questions on there in my college computer lab, then suddenly they added dating.

Welp, that’s enough Lemmy for me today.
This is me. Competitive swimming and wrestling as a youth, along with many years of rock climbing.
My upper back and neck is disproportionately larger than my lower torso and legs.
That’s my thought as well. They NEED to buy the name brand items as well?
There are PLENTY of corners that can be cut, as well as buying items that can be made into larger meals (soups, pastas, etc.) that reheat well.
Whoever this person was needs to rethink their wants and needs, then shop accordingly to their budget.
That’s good to know. I’m on a family plan with my girlfriend and her kids, so I haven’t seen ads in a long time.
I’m glad to hear this is beneficial to creators as well.
I don’t think you’ll be losing out on much. Their algorithm has gone to shit recently and finding anything new has become a chore.
This is so true. I had a 12 mini and upgraded to the 13 mini in December. The battery is better, and I plan on keeping this until the next mini phone arrives. (If any)
I have a set of lasers powered by them as well. Love that it makes the whole thing a bit larger and durable.
A lot of what I grab doesn’t have a lot of traffic, but I’ll grab and seed at least 5-10x on stuff like new releases to make up for it on IPT.
I’m on a gigabit fiber connection, so my upload on my seed box is about 5-20mbps constantly.
The thought of these plus tidal generators makes my day.
The big part for us is the multiple users, and not under a single home location.
My girlfriend, myself, her kid, adult daughter. That ends up being a fairly decent value proposition considering we’re pretty invested in Apple devices. There aren’t a lot of solutions to remove ads, and we take advantage of both the music and video sides of things.
I need to have a serious talk about this with my girlfriend. I didn’t realize she was paying so much for our YT Premium plan.
These prices are getting ridiculous.
Apple has a long history of being unwilling to bend the knee to govt requests.
I’m glad to see them taking a firm stance on this. I’m curious to see what the shareholders think if this happens, as one side of the coin is detrimental to their UK growth, but the other would result in their name being tarnished.
Yup. It was very different back around 2011 when I made my account.
It was a hard first month not going there but I’m pretty over it now.
Can confirm. At least from someone there from 11 years ago when it was still fun.
I stopped going to Reddit when the blackout happened. I’d been back to my profile to delete (and re-delete again) posts, but they lost me as a part of the community.
The 11 years was funsies. I simply don’t agree with the direction the company decided to go and severed ties with them.
It has been challenging to relearn behaviors, or occupy idle time in other ways, but I’ve become happier overall. Turning the fire hose off has been nice.
This is my go to. Picked it up when I was in AUS for a while and it has never left my lexicon.
