I said “same connector for everything”.
Why should headphones have a different connector? Just use one universal one.
I still don’t get the appeal of a different port when we can have the same for everything.
It would be nice if when my earbuds were unplugged I could use that space for something else, but that jack is unifunctional.

Going all-digital is better for sound quality.
Charging phone and listening at the same time would be better solved by 2 USB C ports. You could use that in a lot of ways.
41·1 year agoIf NMS shifted to a more realistic tone, and added cyberpunk style cities (i.e. no loading screens in cities) they would be the hands down winner.
Right now we have to choose between a kids game with no characters, and one where nothing is seamless because you have to teleport from scene to scene.
Unless you switched to Reddit, it sounds like lemmy.world is better than Reddit at a bare minimum.
