I bet they do something insane like force the kids to all stand up, face the nation’s flag, and then pledge their allegiance to it - like they understand what that means. Possibly every morning.
Perhaps they’ll even put military personnel into (whatever their equivalent of) high schools, take volunteers to begin early military training.

Yeah US nationalism is bad, but Russian nationalism is a whole other thing.
No, both have been used to justify invading other countries when they believed they have the right to do so.
In Russia you get arrested for holding up a blank piece of paper, whereas the US has massive public protests against wars where nobody is arrested.

Yes, I know the usual crap handed out that patriotism is loving your country while nationalism is hating other countries.
Both are used as a way to define the in-group and give reason to look down on the out-group all from something the person has no control over: Where they were born.
