I like how the “don’t dead, open inside” at the end just works.

I always install Firefox on all the work computer kiosks.

I’m doing my part one page visit at a time.

Its so much better, especially if you aren’t already lost in Google’s sauce.

I’m an Android user, but luckily I never really got lost in google’s sauce.

I’m pretty sure I used Chrome early on in my Android days but not for very long.

Currently, and for the foreseeable future, my primary browser on Android is Firefox Nightly and I do run firefox on all my computers (I do use Linux).

My friends have gotten so used to me talking about Firefox that whenever they complain about Chrome they immediately say “Don’t” when I start typing

Fight me but I like how Chrome looks and feels. I also have zero issues with its functionality. Many people here are trying to paint it as if it’s a bad browser but the billions using it tell a different story. The issue with chrome isn’t chrome itself but the company behind it.

Will I switch if they start blocking AdBlock? Yes, but only because of this.

as someone who used firefox for the last 20 years or more, I just switched to edge about 6 months ago and I’ve been liking it.

Just as a note: edge can be hardened to a point (clear almost all data on closing) where it’s better than Firefox if you are interested in security over privacy or ease of use. If you are already bound to windows, installing Firefox offers marginal privacy in exchange for more attack surface.

But why even bother? If you’re privacy conscious and still insist on a chromium based browser just use Brave.

Use things that respect your privacy by default. Otherwise you have to be in the habit of actively opting out whenever new updates or features are added and anybody who would be that diligent about it is probably already using Firefox or Brave anyway.

Or as I have recently taken to calling it Microsoft plus Chrome.
Do two negatives make a positive? Clearly not. Checkmate matheists.

no sir. it started with work and trying out bing cause of work with msft. then it expanded with their rewards for searches and paying for gamepass that way. then I got invited to their early release of the chatgpt equivalent integration. it’s just kind of grown.
